Bring your home building material, and cut the 2 inch by 4 inch boards in the lengths you need according to the size of the mattress for the boy’s platform bed. Sand the wood to make sure there are no rough edges, and dust thoroughly. Apply the wood glue to the ends of the wood, and screw together to make the frame of the platform bed. Measure and cut four triangles that fit within the corners of the frame for the remains of the 2 inches by 4 inches of wood. Cut the MDF or plywood in size, place it on the frame of the toddler platform bed, and the wood glue and the screw in place. Turn the platform over until the frame is exposed, and lay the inside of the corners of the frame and flat against the plywood or MDF. Glue for wood and screw the triangles in place.
